How to Apply for YouTuber and What's Expected
    By @TheIanChen
Think you're fit for being a CorbaCraft YouTuber? It's a lot more than you would expect.
In this post, you will find more on how to apply to be a YouTuber and we'll go over some
FAQ. Please read through ALL of the thread before applying.

What does it mean to be a CorbaCraft YouTuber?
To be a CorbaCraft YouTuber, it's not just making videos on CorbaCraft. We currently have
one group channel, CorbaCrew. You will have to post one video a week on CorbaCrew and your personal channel to meet up with the standards.

How do I become a CorbaCraft YouTuber?
First of all, there are NO subscriber requirements. You have to have at least
one CorbaCraft youtube video. After that, you must apply on the forums using the template below. The CorbaCraft team of YouTubers will approve/deny your application. The final vote will be from YouTuber leader, lolbroek65 who will use his own judgment and words from other YouTubers to either accept/reject your application

What happens after I get accepted?
You will be invited to a Slack team, which we mainly use to communicate for assignments,
chatting, etc. Also, you will get the TeamSpeak IP which we use for partner recording. These two services are required to use by the YT team.

How long do I have to wait until I hear words?
As lolbroek65 and I @TheIanChen are the current active YouTube
members, results can take within 1 day - 2 months.

Why should I become a CorbaCraft YouTuber?
Being a CorbaCraft YouTuber will help you be closer with the CorbaCraft family,
consisting of the staff, and the players!

    • DO NOT ask a staff member/YouTuber to accept or approve your application. This will result in immediate rejection.
    • Please use the proper template found below. Using the wrong template will result in application hold for 7 days until it is deleted/canceled.
    • You MUST have a good reputation before and after with the CorbaCraft staff and players. Being a YouTuber is being the face of the CorbaCraft Network. Also, you must have a clean slate at least 1 month prior to applying.
    • DO NOT use polls in your application. They tend to distract, and cause drama. Using them as a vote will not affect the team's outcome on the application
    • DO NOT lie. The CorbaCraft Network does not tolerate lying. No matter how gross or nasty the truth is, honesty is completely valued on the team. Lying can and will prevent you from being in any team or role in the CorbaCraft community.
    • You MUST be active within the community. This means having a registered account, which will prevent impersonation, etc.
    • Your channel MUST fall in the PG - PG 13 category. This means no strong language, no inappropriate content, no sexism, no racism, etc.
    • Slack AND Teamspeak are both REQUIRED. These are the main communication apps for the team.
    • You must have a 30 day gap between multiple apps. Your app(s) will be auto-denied/closed if you do the following:
      • You have been accepted into our community [in any position] and you apply for another position in less than 30 days from being accepted [aka you haven't been apart of our community for a month]
      • You have been denied from any position in last 30 days [aka you must wait 30 days before applying for another position and/or the same position]
      • You have a pending application out [aka if you're applying for event staff right now, do not apply for builder at the same time]

    Suggested Formating

Putting effort into your application is a sign of dedication and maturity. These are some tips
to showing 2 very important factors on the CorbaCraft network.

-Bold your questions, leave answers unformatted.
-Don’t make your text too large.
-Use color to emphasize important phrases, but don’t overuse colors.
    -Be detailed in your answers.
-Overshare information, don’t risk not answering something completely.
-Try to avoid images or emotes in your application unless required.

    Required Questions

All of the questions below are required to be filled in. Don't be afraid to be detailed in answers.
